Submit Fingerprints & Apply
Get fingerprinted at an approved location and submit your license application to the Florida DBPR. Can be done before or after your course.

Pass the State Exam
Schedule your 100-question state exam through Pearson VUE. Score 75 or higher to pass. You have 2 years from course completion to take it.

Activate Your License
Activate through your DBPR account, find a sponsoring broker, and start your Florida real estate career. You're officially licensed.

The 63-hour Sales Associate Pre-License course is the mandatory educational requirement set by the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) for anyone who wants to become a licensed real estate agent in Florida. It covers real estate principles, practices, law, and math — everything you need to pass the state exam.
Which format is right for me?
If you learn best with live instruction and accountability, choose In-Person or Livestream. If you have a busy schedule and need flexibility, the AI Self-Paced option lets you study anytime. All three formats use the same FREC-approved curriculum and lead to the same certificate.
How long does it take to complete?
The in-person and livestream formats typically run 2 weeks with morning or evening sessions. The self-paced option lets you complete it on your own timeline — some students finish in as little as 1–2 weeks, others take longer.
Do I need to be a Florida resident?
No. You do not need to be a Florida resident to get a Florida real estate license. Many of our students are from out of state or transferring an existing license from another state.
What score do I need to pass?
You need a 70% or higher on the end-of-course exam to receive your certificate of completion. For the Florida state exam through Pearson VUE, you need a score of 75 or higher.
