How to Get a Georgia Real Estate Broker License
Requirements to Obtain a Broker’s License
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Have graduated from high school or obtained the equivalent of a high school degree (GED).
- Have been licensed on active status for a minimum of three of the previous five years as a Salesperson.
- Have completed and passed a criminal background check. This can be administered through the Georgia Crime Information Center.
- Have successfully completed the 60 hour Broker Prelicense course.
- Have successfully passed both the Georgia and National portions of the AMP Broker Real Estate Exam.
- Have completed, signed and submitted the licensing application provided by the Georgia Real Estate Commission along with the required fee.
