How to Get Your Georgia Real Estate Sales Agent License

Georgia Real Estate License Requirements

  • Must be a citizen of the United States or a lawfully admitted alien
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a high school diploma or General Education Development (GED)
  • Complete 75 hours of pre-license coursework
  • Obtain a letter from the pre-licensing agency that verifies the course work is approved in that state or province
  • Complete fingerprinting and background check

Steps to Get a Georgia Real Estate License

  1. Complete the 75 hours of pre-license coursework online.
  2. Take the proctored final exam provided by the pre-license education company.
  3. Complete the fingerprinting and background check process.
  4. Take the Georgia Real Estate Exam and pass with a score of 72% or higher.
  5. Apply for your Georgia Real Estate license at any one of the four PSI Test Centers in the state of Georgia.
  6. Complete the 25-hour Salesperson Post-License course within your first year of licensure by the anniversary date of license issuance.
