Georgia Real Estate License Requirements
- Must be a citizen of the United States or a lawfully admitted alien
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a high school diploma or General Education Development (GED)
- Complete 75 hours of pre-license coursework
- Obtain a letter from the pre-licensing agency that verifies the course work is approved in that state or province
- Complete fingerprinting and background check
Steps to Get a Georgia Real Estate License
- Complete the 75 hours of pre-license coursework online.
- Take the proctored final exam provided by the pre-license education company.
- Complete the fingerprinting and background check process.
- Take the Georgia Real Estate Exam and pass with a score of 72% or higher.
- Apply for your Georgia Real Estate license at any one of the four PSI Test Centers in the state of Georgia.
- Complete the 25-hour Salesperson Post-License course within your first year of licensure by the anniversary date of license issuance.
