Indiana Real Estate Broker License Requirements
General Requirements
You need to be at least 18 years old to receive a real estate license in Indiana. In addition you must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Pre-license education requirements
Before you can sit for the Indiana state real estate license exam, you must successfully complete an approved 90-hour pre-license course. You have 12 months to pass the state exam after completing the course.
Application requirements
After you complete your pre-licensing education and pass your real estate exam with a score of at least 75%, you can apply for your real estate license.
- You will need to submit a completed application, which you will receive from the testing service when you pass the exams. At this time, you must be sponsored by a broker.
- You must submit your application for licensure within one year of the date of passing your real estate exam.
