How to Get NRP Certified

Our online NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification course provides you with the skills and knowledge needed to manage and respond to cardiopulmonary emergencies involving newborns. It is specifically designed for healthcare professionals and includes the most up-to-date techniques available. Those who complete the course will receive 8 CEU/CME credits.

NRP certification is an appropriate choice if you are a healthcare professional who has not previously completed an NRP course or if you want an in-depth refresher. If you have recently held an active NRP certification and are an experienced NRP provider, you should sign up for our NRP recertification course.

The NRP certification/recertification course covers the following:

  • Cognitive knowledge of NRP concepts and interventions
  • Supporting the goals and purpose of NRP Provider status
  • Critical components of newborn resuscitation, including a solid understanding of the correct sequence according to the NRP flow diagram and optimize neonatal outcome
  • NRP knowledge, skills, and teamwork, which may reduce neonatal morbidity and mortality by participating in a hands-on skills evaluation or online skills assessment
