Virginia Real Estate License Requirements

  • Be a citizen of the United States or a lawfully admitted alien
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a high school degree or equivalent (GED)

Steps to Get a Virginia Real Estate License

  1. Complete a 60-hour pre-licensing course
  2. Pass the Virginia Real Estate Salesperson Exam (National and State sections)
  3. Complete fingerprinting and background check at a PSI testing center
