Georgia Insurance License Renewal Requirements

  • Annuity Training: Complete a one-time 4-hour training course
  • Long-Term Care Training: Complete 8 hours of initial training and 4 hours every 24-month period thereafter
  • Resident Requirements: 24 hours of CE biennially (less than 20 years licensed), 20 hours of CE biennially (20+ years licensed), 3 hours of ethics-approved courses required for both
  • Non-Resident Requirements: Comply with CE requirements of resident state or satisfy Georgia resident CE requirements
  • Course Repetition: Courses may not be repeated in the same renewal filing period
