How to Renew Your Alabama Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) License
Alabama Mortgage License Renewal Requirements
To maintain your MLO License in Alabama, you must complete 8 hours of NMLS-approved mortgage education annually, which includes:
- 3 hours of federal law
- 2 hours of ethics
- 2 hours of non-traditional mortgage lending
- 1 hour of electives
Please note, you cannot take the same CE course in successive years, as per the SAFE Act’s rule.
