Real Estate License Renewal Requirements Arkansas

  • Renewal date: 9/30 each year
  • Continuing education deadline: 12/31 each year
  • Hours required: 7 hours
  • Principal Brokers (PB) and Executive Brokers (EB): 6 hours (2023 Required Supervising Broker Course) + 1 hour (Required Safety Course)
  • Associate Brokers (AB): Two tracks available – Track 1: 6 hours (2023 Required Supervising Broker Course) + 1 hour (Required Safety Course) OR Track 2: 3 hours (2023 Required Salesperson Course) + 1 hour (Required Safety Course) + 3 hours (Electives)
  • Salespersons (SA): 3 hours (2023 Required Salesperson Course) + 1 hour (Required Safety Course) + 3 hours (Electives)

Steps for Arkansas License Renewal

  1. Complete the required continuing education hours as per your license type.
  2. Obtain electronic copies of the course certificates of completion.
  3. Submit the certificates of completion along with your renewal application to the Arkansas Real Estate Commission by 9/30 each year.
  4. Pay applicable real estate license renewal fees
