Colorado Real Estate Out-Of-State Licensing Requirements

  1. Hold a real estate license in another state for less than 2 years
  2. Complete the 120-hour education program
  3. Pass both the National and State portions of the Colorado Real Estate Broker’s Exam administered by PSI
  4. Submit a Broker’s License Application with all supporting documentation, including a fingerprint form, proof of Errors and Omissions Insurance, and an employing broker’s signature
  5. License fees must be paid in full

Course Description

The 120-Hour Colorado Real Estate Licensing Program for Out-of-State Licensees is designed to help individuals who hold a real estate license in another state for less than 2 years to obtain a Colorado license. This program provides 120 hours of Commission-approved education, covering all topics required for licensing in Colorado, including Contracts and Regulations, Closings, Record Keeping and Trust Accounts, Current Legal Issues, Practical Applications, and Exam Prep Edge. Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to take both the national and state portions of the Colorado Real Estate Broker’s Exam administered by PSI and obtain their Colorado real estate license.
