State License Requirements for Renewal
To keep your Florida Real Estate Sales Associate or Broker license active, you must complete the following requirements:
- Complete 14 hours of Continuing Education (CE) every two years, including:
- 3 hours on Florida Real Estate Law Updates
- 3 hours on Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) approved Ethics and Business Practices
- 8 hours of FREC-approved electives
2. Pay the required renewal fees before the license expiration date.
Penalty for Late Renewal
Late renewal of a salesperson or broker license (other than the first renewal) will result in the license becoming involuntary inactive and additional late fees.

Availability of Final Exam: The Final Exam for this course will become available 14 hours after the purchase of the course.
Course Completion Certificate: Upon successful completion of the course, a certificate of completion will be generated and the completion hours will be reported to the state licensing authority.
Reporting of Completion Hours: Course completion hours could take up to 72 hours to be reported to the state licensing authority. It is the responsibility of the licensee to complete the course in a timely manner to avoid late penalties and additional costs.
Determining Required Course: It is the responsibility of the licensee to determine what course is required for their renewal period. Cameron Academy does not take responsibility for determining the required course nor late renewal penalties.
