- Complete a 4-hour annuity training course for variable life and annuity insurance
- Long-Term Care Training: Initial 8-hour course and 5-hour ongoing training every renewal period
- Flood Requirements: Comply with FEMA’s minimum 3-hour training requirement
- Resident Requirements: 24 hours of CE every two-year period, including 3 hours of ethics (effective for renewals after June 30, 2014)
- Non-Resident Requirements: Exempt from Indiana CE if compliant with resident state’s requirements
- Course Repetition: Not permitted within the compliance/renewal period
Steps to Renew a Indiana Insurance License
- Complete the required CE hours according to your license type and state regulations
- Pass the closed book online certification exam with a minimum score of 70%
- Fulfill the Annuity and Long-Term Care Training requirements, if applicable
- Complete CE requirements by the end of the birth month every two years
