How to Get a Nevada Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) License
Nevada Mortgage License Requirements
- Complete a Criminal Background Check (CBC)
- Authorize a credit report through the NMLS
- Fulfill all state and federal education requirements as designated by your state agency
- Take and pass a National Test
- Be in compliance with court-ordered child support payments (if applicable)
- Obtain sponsorship by a licensed mortgage broker, mortgage banker, or exempt entity
- Be associated with only one mortgage broker or mortgage banker
- Be included on the Surety Bond held by the sponsoring company
- Be at least 18 years of age
