Scope of this policy
Your privacy is critically important to us. This Policy applies to www.CameronAcademy.com, all Cameron Academy subdomains (including enroll.cameronacademy.com), and any communications we send by email, SMS/text message, or telephone. This Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how you consent to communications from us, and the rights you have with respect to your information. Information We Collect
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
When you register for a course, create an account, complete a form, or communicate with us, you may provide us with: your full name, email address, mobile telephone number, billing and shipping address, payment card information (processed by our payment provider, not stored by us), username and password, and course selections.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we automatically collect: your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, time spent on pages, scroll depth, buttons clicked, sections viewed, and other technical interaction data. We treat IP addresses, cookie identifiers, and device identifiers as personal information.
Information from third parties
We may receive information about you from payment processors, analytics providers, advertising networks, and identity-verification services (including Google reCAPTCHA when you submit forms).
How We Use Your Information
How We Use Your Information
Purposes of processing
We use your information to: (a) process your enrollment and payment; (b) provide access to course materials and deliver instruction; (c) send transactional communications including enrollment confirmations, schedule changes, invoices, receipts, account notifications, and customer service responses; (d) send marketing communications about new courses, promotional offers, events, and follow-up enrollment reminders, but only where you have provided consent; (e) prevent fraud and secure our systems; (f) comply with legal obligations including records required by the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) and the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR); and (g) improve our website and services.
We do not sell your personal information
Cameron Academy does not sell your personal information. We do not rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share mobile opt-in consent, SMS subscriber information, or telephone numbers with third parties or affiliates for their independent marketing purposes.
How We Obtain Your Consent
How We Obtain Your Consent
Prior express written consent
When you submit your telephone number through a form on our website — including our registration form, checkout form, enrollment form, or contact form — and check the consent checkbox presented adjacent to the phone-number field, you provide prior express written consent (as defined under 47 C.F.R. § 64.1200) for Cameron Academy to contact you at that number by SMS/text message and by telephone call, including calls and messages delivered using an automatic telephone dialing system, an artificial voice, a prerecorded voice, or an AI-generated voice or message.
Consent is not a condition of purchase
You are not required to provide consent to receive marketing calls or text messages as a condition of purchasing any Cameron Academy course or service. Transactional communications required to deliver a course you have purchased — such as schedule confirmations and essential account notices — may still be sent on a service-related basis.
What we record as proof of consent
At the time you provide consent, we record the date, time, source URL, IP address, browser information, the disclosure text shown to you, and the version of the disclosure in effect. We retain these consent records for as long as is required to demonstrate compliance with federal and state telemarketing regulations.
Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time. See the opt-out instructions in the SMS and Phone Call sections below, or contact us directly using the contact information at the bottom of this page. Withdrawal of consent applies to the channel on which it is exercised (for example, replying STOP to a text message removes you from SMS marketing; telephone opt-out is processed separately).
Phone Calls & Auto-Dialed Communications
Phone Calls & Auto-Dialed Communications
Types of calls you may receive
With your consent, Cameron Academy may contact you by telephone for the following purposes: enrollment confirmation, class scheduling, course reminders, follow-up on incomplete registrations, new course announcements, promotional offers, licensing and career guidance, customer service, and responses to your inquiries.
Autodialer and prerecorded voice
Calls from Cameron Academy may be placed using automated telephone dialing systems, prerecorded or artificial voice messages, and voicemail drops. Your consent to receive calls from Cameron Academy includes consent to receive calls using these technologies.
Caller identification
Cameron Academy calls originate from numbers associated with Cameron Academy, including our main line at (407) 251-0051. Our caller ID will identify Cameron Academy.
Calling hours
Consistent with federal and Florida telemarketing rules, marketing calls are made only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the time zone of the called party.
How to opt out of phone calls
You may opt out of marketing phone calls at any time by (a) telling any caller you wish to be added to our internal do-not-call list, (b) emailing [email protected] with the subject line "DO NOT CALL," or (c) calling (407) 251-0051 and requesting removal. Opt-out requests are processed within a reasonable time not to exceed thirty (30) days.
Do Not Call Registry
You may also register your telephone number on the National Do Not Call Registry at donotcall.gov. Registration with the National Do Not Call Registry does not override prior express written consent you have provided to Cameron Academy; to withdraw that consent, use one of the opt-out methods described above.
SMS / Text Message Program
SMS / Text Message Program
Program description
Cameron Academy operates an SMS program (the "Program") that sends text messages to subscribers who have provided prior express written consent. Messages may be transactional, marketing, or a combination of both, and may include: enrollment confirmations, class reminders, schedule changes, billing notices, account updates, customer-service responses, follow-up messages regarding incomplete enrollments, promotional offers, new course announcements, career guidance, event invitations, and multi-message marketing sequences related to Florida real estate licensing.
How to opt in
You can opt into the Program by submitting your mobile telephone number through a Cameron Academy form and checking the consent checkbox shown alongside the phone-number field, or by texting a specified keyword to a Cameron Academy short code or long code where such a keyword is advertised.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity, your stage in the enrollment process, and the promotional calendar. You may receive up to multiple messages per week.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile carrier's plan for details. Cameron Academy is not responsible for charges imposed by your wireless carrier.
Carriers
The Program is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How to opt out (STOP)
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from Cameron Academy. After you send STOP, we will send you a confirmation message and will not send you any additional marketing text messages. If you want to resubscribe, sign up again through any Cameron Academy form or reply START to resume messages.
How to get help (HELP)
If you are experiencing issues with the Program, reply HELP to any message from Cameron Academy for assistance, or contact us at [email protected] or (407) 251-0051.
Mobile opt-in data is never shared
Mobile opt-in information, SMS consent records, and telephone numbers submitted for the purposes of this Program are never shared, sold, rented, leased, or otherwise disclosed to any third party, affiliate, or partner for their marketing purposes. This exclusion applies independently of the general data-sharing terms elsewhere in this Policy.
Consent is not a condition of purchase
Consent to receive SMS marketing messages from Cameron Academy is not a condition of purchasing any course, product, or service.
AI-Generated Communications
AI-Generated Communications
Use of AI in our communications
Some of the telephone calls, text messages, and email messages you receive from Cameron Academy may be initiated, composed, or delivered using automated software, artificial intelligence, or machine-learning systems. This includes follow-up sequences triggered by your interactions with our website, AI-generated voicemails, AI-composed text messages, and automated email workflows.
Same rights apply
Your right to opt out of communications applies equally to AI-generated and human-generated messages. Replying STOP to a text or requesting removal from our call list will stop both types of outreach on that channel.
Content review
AI-generated communications are reviewed for compliance with this Policy, with TCPA requirements, with FTSA requirements, and with the Cameron Academy code of conduct. We do not use AI to impersonate real individuals or to make claims unauthorized by Cameron Academy.
